Mia-PetsLEONARDO indoor cat food in Gràcia: Light or Complete 32/16?
Compare fat, fibre, ingredients and feeding amounts in two adult cat recipes.
To choose between LEONARDO Adult Light and Adult Complete 32/16 for an adult cat in Vila de Gràcia, start with what the cat actually eats and its body condition. Both are dry foods for adults, but the declared fat and fibre levels differ. We checked the manufacturer’s labels in September 2026. Living in a particular district does not alter a cat’s physiology; this comparison cannot replace a veterinary weight-management plan or treatment for an existing disease.
Label figures side by side
| Recipe | Manufacturer’s ingredients and analysis | Useful question |
|---|---|---|
| Adult Light & Sterilised | 30% fresh poultry, 23% poultry protein, 9% fish meal; 35% protein, 12.5% fat, 3.5% fibre. | How much should a less active neutered cat actually eat? |
| Adult Complete 32/16 | 33% poultry protein and 5% fish meal; 32% protein, 16% fat, 1.9% fibre. | Does the ordinary adult formula fit the cat’s activity and measured portion? |
Reading Light without expecting automatic weight loss
Adult Light lists 12.5% fat and 3.5% fibre. Complete 32/16 lists 16% fat and 1.9% fibre. These are meaningful differences in the analytical declaration, but a cat will not necessarily lose weight if you change bags while still filling the bowl by eye. Wet food, treats and exercise also affect total daily energy. Sudden weight changes, excessive thirst or a prescribed diet should be discussed with a veterinarian. Avoid drastic do-it-yourself ration cuts, particularly if the cat begins to refuse food.
What is actually in the two bags
Light lists 30% fresh poultry, 23% dried poultry protein, rice, maize and 9% fish meal. Complete begins with 33% dried poultry protein, then maize, poultry fat, wheat and 5% fish meal. Neither is grain-free; both contain poultry and fish. A single prominent ingredient should not be used to diagnose food intolerance. Read the complete composition on the exact pack, including additives and feeding instructions, and ask a clinician about any genuine elimination-diet requirement. Comparing recipes is more precise than comparing brand names.
The four-kilogram example
LEONARDO’s Complete chart suggests about 50 g per day for an indoor or neutered cat with an ideal weight of 4 kg, versus 65 g for one with high activity. These are starting figures from a manufacturer’s table, not a universal prescription for every cat weighing four kilos. Check the current Light table too. Weigh the amount offered and what remains for several days. If two people share feeding, log who gives each meal and treat. A seemingly tiny daily extra can become relevant over weeks.
Food and activity in a Gràcia flat
More than one fresh-water point, a quiet place for the bowl and a regular play routine make day-to-day habits easier to notice in an apartment. If dry and wet food are combined, both portions count: 100 g of wet food and 100 g of kibble have very different water content and cannot be swapped gram for gram. Split a measured daily allocation into several feeds if it suits the cat. Track weight under similar conditions and review body condition with a professional rather than chasing one number.
Ask for the exact recipe before travelling
Mia-Pets has one shop, at Avinguda de Josep Tarradellas, 64. Send the precise recipe, pack size and, if useful, a photo of your current food. The team can confirm current availability and price as well as delivery options to Gràcia; this page does not promise any product is on the shelf. Browse other brands, see the pet food glossary for fibre and energy terms, and find nearby independent businesses through pet services.
Review the outcome thoughtfully
Introduce a new food gradually and keep treats fairly consistent while you observe appetite and stools. Record the date, amount served and body condition before judging any trend. If your cat refuses meals or stops eating, ask the vet promptly instead of insisting on a home trial. When you revisit this comparison months later, check the actual pack you are buying: formulations and feeding tables may change while the recipe’s name stays the same.
